Calgary Transit 2007 New Flyer D60LFR

In spring of 2007, Calgary Transit received 6 2007 model New Flyer D60LFRs, which was a first for Calgary at the time, as these were the first Articulated buses to be ordered by Calgary Transit. They feature rooftop heaters, and a flat-back rear. This was after some short trials with a 2003 New Flyer D60LF that was borrowed from ETS (Edmonton Transit Service) in June of 2004, to see if Articulated buses would be feasible for Calgary. As of early 2019, these buses usually run during the AM/PM rush hour for school and express trips, with the occasional bus running all-day runs on the Route 1, 3, 301 and 302. All of these units are operated out of Victoria Park Garage from Monday-Friday.
